GDI takes home best retail customer experience award

We are thrilled to announce that GDI won the award for Best Retail Customer Experience at the Manhattan Momentum event held in Phoenix the week of May 22nd 2023. Sylvie Dostie, Senior Director of Sales Operations, Risk Management, was present at the event to accept the award.

GDI was selected in recognition of a 2-year-long project on which our teams worked closely with Manhattan Associates to implement a new Point of Sale (POS) system across our 300+ stores in Canada and the United States.

This significant achievement would not have been possible without the collective efforts of the Operations, Sales, LP, IT, Finance, Inventory, Omni, Loyalty, Pricing, and Procurement teams as well as our executives.

During the week-long event, Manhattan also invited us to host learning sessions. Sylvie and Ilham Jaghouma, Senior Director of Application Architecture, presented our POS implementation project and future projects with Manhattan.
