Last weekend marked the 1-year anniversary for our flagship Garage store in SoHo, New York City’s fashion hotspot.
To celebrate, we handed out free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and decadent branded candies and cookies. Plus, with a $50+ purchase, customers received a free branded tote bag and a pair of sunglasses or a trucker hat.
Four Garage Style Crew members were on site to build excitement for the event, and we welcomed back DJ Odalys, who had our very first SoHo customers dancing at the opening last year.
Highlight of Garage SoHo’s first year: Collaboration with Rich Caroline
One of this year’s highlights was our collaboration with the popular TikToker, Rich Caroline.
From September 6th to September 8th, the Garage coffee truck was present on NYU campus. Caroline posed for photos with fans and recorded content for our TikTok campus series. We served free coffee to over 2,400 students and Garage Ambassadors handed out 1.5K units of branded hats, stickers, bags and candy.
During the September 8th shopping event, lucky fans got to enjoy tons of gift giveaways and a styling session with Caroline as part of the TikTok Campus series. The event alone created a 13% increase in traffic and US$6.1K in sales.
Following the event, Caroline posted multiple viral TikTok videos on her page and on the Garage TikTok page. One of her TikToks promoting the store’s new location and job opportunities hit 1.3M views! Click here to view it.
Congratulations to the Marketing team for this successful collaboration, and congrats to the Garage team in SoHo for this great first year.
